Relieve the Stress of Finals
- Send a care package. Some ideas: Healthful snacks such as dried fruit, trail mix, etc.; comic strip cut from the newspaper; a funny photo from home of family, friends, or pets; a fun-to-read book or CD to enjoy after studying!
- Encouraging cards or emails
- Don't put more stress on him or her with pressure to do well on projects and final tests. Offer words of support and encouragement. Let your student know that you love them for who they are, not for what they can do.
- Remember that they may be very busy completing projects, writing papers, and studying for finals. They may not have a lot of time to talk on the phone or otherwise contact you.
- Add humor to conversations and messages.
- Most of all, PRAY for your student every day.
