Early Childhood Education Certificate
The Early Childhood Education Certificate program will benefit students seeking employment in early childhood care and education programs, or for those currently employed in the field as care givers, teachers, or administrators who desire to upgrade their skills and increase their kinowledge in this area of study.
- The student will develop and articulate a personal, Christian philosophy of education as it pertains to infants, toddlers, and the young child up to eight years of age.
- The student will effectively plan instruction and manage classroom situtations using the skills and requisite knowledge s/he has gained.

*The one-hour practicum class will be required of those students who do not plan to pursue further training. Students who plan to transfer should opt for the threehour internship. Prerequisite: Courses listed under Semester One.
